Reserve the date of SUNDAY, MARCH 18, 2012 for the SPN IRISH FEST. It includes an “all you care to eat” Dinner Buffet, dancing, the music of “Irish Stew”, and lots of fun and games. Time is from 3 to 6 PM. The menu includes: Beef & Irish Stout Stew, Mashed Potatoes, Braised Cabbage, Irish Pub Salad, Irish Soda Bread & Assorted Rolls, Diana’s Guinness Chocolate Cake, Coffee/Asst. Hot Tea/Homemade Lemonade. Cost is just $18 per person. Tickets are now on sale. Contact the Parish Office (317-631-8746).

A nationwide campaign, “Catholics Come Home,” recently began to invite and welcome back those who have left the Church. TV spots are being aired on networks throughout the U.S. You can be the instrument of God’s grace. You may be the messenger who invites another to come home. LENT BEGINS THIS WEEK: ASH WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 22, 2012. Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM at St. Philip Neri (English), at 6 PM at Holy Cross (English), and at 7:30 PM at St. Philip Neri (Spanish). Ashes will be distributed within the Mass. Our LENTEN PENANCE SERVICE will be WEDNESDAY, MARCH 14TH. AT 7 PM @ HOLY CROSS. This will be in both English and Spanish.

UTILITY ASSISTANCE

For the fourth year, St. Philip Neri is offering “Utility Assistance Grants” to help pay gas, water, and electric bills. This is possible through the generosity of an anonymous donor. These grants are available to assist anyone who lives within our geographical area or registered parishioners. One grant per family/address is available for the period between November, 2011 and April, 2012 up to $200. Call the Parish Office for further details (317-631-8746).
